Mother Teresa (1910-1997) - The Nobel Peace Prize 1979 , Whose original name was Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu, was born on August 26, 1910 in what is now Skopje, Macedonia. She devoted her life to helping the sick and the poor.

I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.
We cannot do great things on this Earth, only small things with great love.
One of the greatest diseases is to be nobody to anybody.
I never will understand all the good that a simple smile can accomplish.
A rare and unique individual who lived long for higher purposes. Her life-long devotion to the care of the poor, the sick and the disadvantaged was one of the highest examples of service to humanity.
Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.
